Day 4 - Follow the Freshies!

Incredible. Not only does Chile have the best lift accessible terrain we have ever ridden - the locals don´t like to ride it! We lost a day to a storm then woke up to bluebird and 10¨of fresh on Thursday. We ripped Valle Nevado from 9 to 5 (no kidding) then hit the Cristal. Friday we figured the fresh would be tracked but La Parva was untouched. Our last run of the day was blower (!) WTF? These pics are from the cellie-cam so look for riding pics when we return next week. Peace!!

We Have Arrived!

24 hours, 325,000 pesos, and 64 switchbacks later we have arrived at Refugio Aleman - a halfway house for sideways riders getting their fix... The Essentials crew here in Farellones have already met some dope peeps, including a handful of Aussies, a couple Gringos, and some Locals that we are stoked to ride with. We are currently waiting out the forecasted storm, and from what we hear, its stupid when the clouds clear. More to come...

This is an official invite to all you globe trotting rippers. On August 25th, a group of us are heading to the southern hemisphere to shred pow, and surf waves (if we have the energy after shredding!) It cheap when you sleep in your rental car! We are landing in Santiago and going from there, so sell your couch, and your neighbors landscaping, and get a ticket!
